The Out For Delivery screen appears once you’ve marked one or more orders as “Out for Delivery.” This screen helps you organize your active deliveries before hitting the road. It includes a live map, stop-by-stop list, route optimization, and manual route planning – so you can complete your deliveries as efficiently as possible.

You can optimize the route automatically or rearrange it manually to match your preferences or real-world conditions.
What This Screen Displays
- A list of all orders currently marked Out for Delivery and assigned to you
- A live map showing all delivery points
- Total distance and estimated travel time for your current route
- Clearly labeled origin (first stop) and destination (last stop)
Each order shows the customer name, delivery address, and basic order info for quick reference.
Route Options
You can manage your route in two ways:
1. Optimize Route
Tap Optimize Route to automatically rearrange the delivery stops in the shortest, most efficient sequence. This option uses Google’s distance and time data to reduce total driving time.
2. Manual Route Mode
Choose Manual Route Mode if you prefer to set your own stop order. You can:
- Change which stop is first (origin) or last (destination)
- Move stops up or down manually in the list
- Watch the map and travel time update live as you reorder
This is helpful if you want to prioritize certain deliveries, follow traffic conditions, or make personal adjustments to the suggested route.
View Route Details
Tap View Route to expand the full turn-by-turn route below the map. This preview helps you check your sequence before heading out.
How to Use the Screen
- From your dashboard, open the Out For Delivery screen
- Review the suggested stop order and map
- Tap Optimize Route for the shortest path

Tap Manual Route Mode to arrange stops yourself - Review total estimated travel time and distance
- Confirm your origin and destination
- Return to the first order in your list and tap Start Delivery to begin your route
You can come back to this screen anytime during the day to review or update your route as needed.

- The system uses Google Directions and Distance Matrix for accurate time and distance calculations
- Route changes update immediately no page reloads
- Store admins can view the updated route sequence in real time
