Assigning Delivery Date and Time to Orders

1. Assign Delivery Date and Time to Individual Orders (Order Page)

Step 1: Go to the WooCommerce Orders Page

  • Navigate to WooCommerce > Orders from your WordPress dashboard.

Step 2: Open the Order

  • Click on the order number or Edit under the order you want to update.

Step 3: Update Delivery Date and Time

  • Scroll down to the delivery driver section in the order editor.
  • Use the delivery date picker to assign the delivery date.
  • Enter the preferred delivery time.

Step 4: Save Changes

  • Once you’ve set the delivery date and time, click Update to save the changes.

Bulk Assign Delivery Date and Time to Multiple Orders

Step 1: Navigate to WooCommerce Orders Page

  • In your WordPress dashboard, go to WooCommerce > Orders.

Step 2: Select Orders

  • Check the boxes next to the orders for which you want to assign the same delivery date and time.

Step 3: Choose Bulk Action

  • From the Bulk actions dropdown menu, select Update delivery date & time.

Step 4: Set Delivery Time and Date

  • Use the time dropdowns to select the delivery start time and end time.
  • Click on the Delivery date field to open the calendar and choose the preferred delivery date.

Step 5: Apply Changes

  • Once you’ve set the delivery date and time, click Apply to save the changes for all selected orders.

Automate Delivery Date and Time Sync from Third-Party Plugins

Step 1: Go to Delivery Date & Time Settings

  • In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Local Delivery Drivers plugin > Settings > Delivery Date & Time tab.

Step 2: Enable Sync for Third-Party Plugin

  • Check the box labeled Sync Delivery Date & Time from Third-Party Plugin to enable automatic syncing.
  • Enter the Meta Key for Third-Party Delivery Date: This is the meta key used by your third-party plugin to store the delivery date. The value will be copied into the plugin’s delivery date field.
  • Enter the Meta Key for Third-Party Delivery Time: This is the meta key used by your third-party plugin to store the delivery time. The value will be copied into the plugin’s delivery time field.

Step 3: Save Changes

  • After entering the meta keys, click Save Changes to apply the settings.
  • From now on, whenever a new order is created, the delivery date and time will be automatically synced from the third-party plugin into the plugin’s fields.
