This guide will help you add your custom translations using the Loco Translate plugin, a popular and user-friendly tool for translating WordPress plugins directly from your admin dashboard.
Translate Using Loco Translate
- Install Loco Translate
Download and install the Loco Translate plugin from the WordPress Plugin Directory. Activate the plugin in your WordPress site.
2. Open Loco Translate
In your WordPress admin panel, click Loco Translate from the left-hand menu.
3. Select the Plugin
Click on Local Delivery Drivers for WooCommerce from the list of translatable plugins.
4. Add a New Language
Click the New language button.
5. Choose Your Language
From the dropdown, select the language you want to use for translation.
6. Choose File Location
Select the Author option to safely store your translation. This prevents it from being lost during plugin updates.
7. Start Translating
Click Start translating to open the translation editor.
8. Translate the Strings
You’ll see a list of source texts. Click each one and enter your translated version in the field below.
9. Save Your Translation
After entering your translations, click the Save button to generate the .po and .mo files.
